We want to help you identify YOUR role and give you such an opportunity.  We encourage you to search the following areas and find the right place to try. When you think you have found it, contact the church office and someone will visit with you about what is involved.

Opportunities to serve include:

ADULT MINISTRY – Discussion leader, assisting with materials, Life Group leader or host/hostess, foyer and meeting area setup team, missions team.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY – Caregiver, teacher, table leader, room coordinator, story teller, Bible story/music.

JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH MINISTRY – Small group leader, recreation coordinator, refreshment coordinator, tech/video team.

WORSHIP & MUSIC MINISTRY – Singing, instrument playing, drama, and set decoration/setup.

COMMUNION TEAM - Includes preparing the elements for the first weekend of each month.

CONNECTION CAFE COFFEE TEAM – Set up Cafe, make and serve coffee and refreshnments, welcome cafe visitors and help prepare for next Sunday’s Cafe.  Volunteers rotate different Sundays.

FACILITY SET UP- Assist with foyer, children’s and stage setup.

GREETER TEAM – Welcome others by providing an atmosphere of friendliness and warmth, as well as information and direction, as people enter the building.

INFORMATION DESK TEAM – Help guests, answer questions, provide directions, and hand out material.

OFFICE ASSISTANCE TEAM – Provide general office help in computer area, typing, collating, printing and other work as needed.

PHOTOGRAPHER – Take digital photos of church activities and submit them to the church for use on the Web site.

REPORT WRITER – Write stories about events and activities at North Pointe.

TECH TEAM – Assist with worship services and rehearsals in areas such as visuals, lighting or sound tech.

USHER TEAM – Maintain our worship atmosphere by providing direction and seating for the service, handing out bulletins, taking the offering, serving communion. We try to have enough ushers so that they can work on a rotating schedule.
