Elementary (1st through 4th grades)

The Elementary classes are focused on teaching biblical truth through loving relationships. Our goal is to keep a positive and encouraging environment that will allow the children to learn truths that will give them a firm foundation in God’s Word.

Our foundation in curriculum is that God is alive, and He speaks to us in the Bible. We are learning to be listeners. We strive to keep the children with the same table teacher in order to build relationships with the children.

This group of children follows a two-year curriculum that incorporates some published materials as well as units developed by the team. This plan has several objectives:

1. Teach Bible application methods to all the students.
2. Practice Bible application methods throughout the year.
3. Clearly and effectively present the gospel to the students at least once each year.
4. Teach the seven core values of North Pointe.
5. Challenge some of the common deceptions that students are exposed to in the world.
6. Excite students about their future with teachings about things to come.
7. Teach students about the history of Christianity.
