Ruth serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastors at North Pointe. She grew up in Kansas, where her father was a pastor, and attended Sterling College. She has 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

She recently retired from Allied Insurance Group after 30 years of employment. She was a Senior Underwriting Specialist. 

Ruth has been active in many church activities which involved her administrative and hospitality skills. She was Chairman of the Rosemont Day Care Advisory Board for a 3 year term. At Lincoln Berean Church, she served as the Coordinator of the All-Church picnic, Chairman of the LBC Easter Sunday Continental Breakfast and team leader for the Adult Hospitality brunch on Sundays. She has been a Life Group Leader and was one of the wedding reception coordinators for LBC.
