Dick and his wife Miriam have 2 married daughters and 7 grandchildren. They have lived in Lincoln since 1986. 

Dick became a licensed pastor in 1999 when he joined the staff at Lincoln Berean Church as the Service Network Pastor. He later also assumed the role of Administrative Pastor. He was a member of the Staff Directional Team and the Business Team. He was on the Elder Board there for 14 years. 

Miriam previously served as the Director of the Special Education Department at LBC for 12 years before becoming part of North Pointe. She currently works with North Pointe in many aspects of the Sunday set up, serving in the children’s ministry and directing the “Creative Friends” ministry.  Miriam and Dick have been active in Life Group ministry and home bible studies most of their married life.

They love to travel, times with family & friends and working in the yard.
